DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION VISION PLAN

At the of 2023 Batesville Main Street was very fortunate to recieve funding via the John A Hillenbrand Foundation, the William A and Martha H Hillenbrand Foundation and additional funding from the City of Batesville Redevelopment Commission to embark on the process of developing a Downtown Vision Plan.

This plan is a community effort to find the path to revitalization of Downtown Batesville. In cooperation with the city of Batesville, HWC Engineering was hired to facilitate the planning process.

Having a current up to date plan will help organizations such as ours apply for grant funding as this is a common requirement to show a collaborative effort and a well thought out plan.

We sincerely hope that you were able to take part in our open house at the beginning of the process, pop-up events at Puppuccino and the Farmer's Market, complete the online community survey or attend the public meeting on August 14th at the Batesville Memorial Public Library.

This plan is nearing its completion. Below are the presentation slides and idea boards from the August 14th Public Meeting for those that were unable to attend.
